America remains rich in ideas, capital, land, institutions, and talent. Yet major infrastructure is too often trapped between fragmented authority, short political cycles, workforce gaps, and public distrust.
Rebuilding national capacity means modernizing permitting, strengthening trades and technical education, aligning private investment with public value, and restoring competence as a civic expectation.
We should build faster, but speed without stewardship merely produces the next expensive problem. The objective is durable capability.
