I believe in technology because I have watched disciplined engineering solve problems that once appeared immovable. But progress is not measured only in speed, scale, valuation, or computing power.
The questions are simple. Did we strengthen the community? Did we create meaningful work? Did we protect what cannot be replaced? Did the people carrying the cost share in the benefit?
Innovation with a conscience does not weaken business. It creates the trust, legitimacy, and endurance required for important work to last.
